The 2009 AGM was the best attended in memory, although the surprising numbers caught us out and it took a little longer than usual to get the meeting underway, on the whole the feedback has been very positive from what was a lively and constructive meeting.
The liveliest debate centred around the
proposal from the Management Company to operate a No Smoking
policy inside the cottages, the
full minutes of the meeting are now available on the
downloads page, but the conclusion of
the debate was an
overwhelming show of hands in support of such a decision
and henceforth Members are requested not to smoke
inside the Cottages.
In order to enforce this policy it was decided to request either credit card details or a £50 deposit from all residents including exchange guests and rental guests with the understanding that an extra charge will be levied should anyone choose to ignore this request and extra deep cleaning be necessary.
